"The best thing about the future is that I comes one day at a time"- Abraham Lincoln. This quote means that we can enjoy what we do day by day and make amends if needed. I agree with this quote because I do not want to see my future, I want to live my future and shape it how I want it. This quote can clearly be seen in the book Mocking Jay. Katniss has lost herself but is taking time to find her self, she is fighting a war which everybody is blind to the future to see the victor and she also struggles to find her friend Petta who has been taken by the capitol not even knowing if he is dead or alive.

I am Katniss Everdeen

I am hope
I wonder if  will live
I hear shooting
I see death
I want peace
I am hope

I pretend to love
I feel nothing
I touch my bow
I worry for family
I cry at night
I am hope

I understand terror
I say fight
I dream of happiness
I try to fight
I hope for freedom
I am hope

I finally have my hands on the book Mockingjay written by Suzanne Collins. Mockingjay is the epic conclusion to the three piece book series. From The Hunger Games to the sequel Catching Fire I have been waiting to read the third piece of the trilogy, Mockingjay. In my busy life I have a hard time finding time to read. Now with a school assignment due I now have to read which means I have to make time to read. I am actually super excited about this assignment because of Mockingjay. I am excited about reading because I have read the first two books and have really enjoyed the books and these three books will perhaps be the most enjoyable books I have ever read. When I was on the search for my book I had to find a book that dealt with time and as I searched I found Mockingjay. My predictions from what I have read so far is that Katniss Everdeen will have a life changing expirence.

Hero

Hero

"A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." ~ Christopher Reeve's (Superman).

This quote is really an inspiration or should be an inspiration to every one on planet earth. this quote  basically says never give up no matter what your problem may be. I support this quote with all my heart. I too have been in a situation where my obstacle seemed to push me down no matter how hard I tried to persevere. I was in the seventh grade and Georgia had recently received a big blanket of snow. I was out doing any teenager was doing on a snowy day which was out in the snow. That day I went sledding and I severely broke my leg. When I found out how bad it was the doctor said I may not ever be able to swim again (swimming is my sport) and I was devastated when I heard the news. in time I worked my leg out and it became stronger and now I am swimming. Never give up.
